[en] Some Moessbauer spectroscopy studied on the series of tris (2-pyridinalimine) and tris (2-pydilketoimine) -iron (II) complexes are discussed. Drastic modifications are expected in the Moessbauer spectra for these complexes than in the tris (diimine) iron (II) complexes due to the greater proximity of the substituents to the iron atom. The fact that the different radicals are bonded to the imino nitrogen suggested that these compounds could be more suitable for systematic studies
