AbstractAbstract
[en] Current development of the theory of electron transfer in ion-atom collisions is summarized. Preliminary results indicate that K-K capture cross sections at lower energies are sensitive to the proper treatment of the atomic model. It was shown that electron capture from outer shells of multielectron atoms can be calculated using the present method, in conjunction with the simple independent electron model. Some recent research is summarized. 8 references
