AbstractAbstract
[en] The dependence of the phase transition, associated with the disassembly of hot nuclei, on the mass number of hot nuclei is investigated. By studying seven nuclei ranged from 48Ti* to 238U*, we can always find two obvious plateau structures in the curves of excitation energy E* versus thermodynamic temperature T(E*) for 63Cu* and heavier nuclei. But for 56Ni* and 48Ti* the first plateau structure (at lower excitation energy) with respect to the onset of fission mode disappears. (orig.)

[en] The structure of inclusive differential section of the fast particle production in the domain of the Feinman variable x ∼ 1 by protons on nuclon and nuclear targets is studied in the frames of the bremsstrahlung model. The obtained results are compared with the simplest Reggeon pattern

[en] The absorptive kaon photoproduction model of Tanabe, Kohno, and Bennhold is examined. It is found that this model predicts the wrong sign for the target polarization observable. It is further found that this problem can be remedied within the model's original form. The model is therefore quite flexible. Comparisons are made with recent calculations

AbstractAbstract
[en] In this paper we have discussed certain ambiguities which arise in the description of the mass and charge distributions in heavy ion collisions. We have concentrated on two additional mechanisms, beyond the simple nucleon transfer with average relative momentum, required in the random walk formalism to obtain an agreement with the experimental data. We have shown that these two mechanisms, Δ-process involving an additional ''Fermi momentum'' transfer and γ-process involving new non-transfer process for an energy dissipation, are formally interchangable as regards their effect on the total mass width. We have discussed the possible physical mechanisms responsible for these processes and their relationship to transport theories. (orig.)

[en] A simple Monte Carlo cascade model giving the exclusive description of the heavy ion collisions is described. Comparison with the data on O+Au collisions at 60 and 200 GeV suggests that in this energy region all secondary particles are produced basically by the multiple cascade collisions of the projectile and target nucleons, while the cascading of the produced particles is rather negligible

AbstractAbstract
[en] We derive expressions for the low energy behavior of the multipole amplitudes of 2H(γ,n)1H. Our results follow from the relativistic treatment of the long wavelength limit for the photon. We enforce unitarity, point out the incompatibility of this with gauge invariance, and suggest a possible solution. We discuss in some detail the forward differential cross section

AbstractAbstract
[en] The widths of distributions obtained in central 16O + Au interactions at 200 A GeV are examined. It is shown that the width of the rapidity region is important when fluctuations in the distributions of transverse energy and charged particle multiplicity are studied. We investigate the origin of the fluctuations, and conclude that they originate predominantly from the underlying distribution of emitting sources. (orig.)
