[en] An experiment at the CERN synchro-cyclotron on nuclear fission in muonic atoms (see the contribution by G. Tibell to this conference) has recently been extended to include a search for nuclear excitations other than those leading to fission, induced by the decay of a muon orbiting in one of the innermost shells.
