AbstractAbstract
[en] The deuterium cluster ions of specific sizes less than 1000 atoms/unit charge (a positive elementary charge) in a beam of an equivalent current of 1000 Asub(eq) are accelerated with the potential wells (troughs) in accelerated traveling waves on a delay line from 3.10 x 107 cm/s (1 keV/atom) to 3.10 x 108 cm/s (100 keV/atom) at an acceleration of 5 x 1012 cm/s2. The potential depth of the wells, the total length of the delay line and the net power required are found to be 26 kV, 100 m and 100 MW, respectively, by fundamental calculation. (author)
