Effect of vortex pinning on the rf parameters of type-II superconductors
AbstractAbstract
[en] Estimates are obtained of actual values of the superconductor rf parameters (surface resistance, penetration depth, and threshold amplitude of rf field) for the case of moderately strong pinning of vortices at frequencies of order 109 Hz and in a magnetic field Bapprox.1 T. Nb--Ti specimens with characteristic (''pinning'') frequency fp on the order of several GHz are obtained and investigated for the first time. The value fproughly-equal3.5 x 109 GHz obtained from the static measurements agrees satisfactorily with the measured rf parameters of these specimens
