[en] The paper intends to outline the activities of the UNSCEAR and to summarize the content of its most recent report to the General Assembly. This purpose is made difficult by the very large amount of information it contains: only the most general conclusions will therefore be presented and the reader is referred to the original publication for a detailed description of the conditions under which such conclusions were derived.
