State densities for finite single particle configurations
AbstractAbstract
[en] Nuclear state densities at high excitation energies are described in the model of independent fermions distributed over a finite set of single particle states generated by the mean potential, using the moment expansion method and the theory of statistical fluctuations. A comparison with exact combinatorial calculations for state densities and applications to specific problems is also discussed. (authors)
