Phase equilibria in the CdWO4-Ho2(WO4)3 system
AbstractAbstract
[en] Formation of individual congruently melting at 1205 deg C chemical compound of 2CdWO4·Ho2(WO4)3 composition, crystallizing in tetragonal syngony (sheelite structural type, sp.gr. I 41/a was established in CdWO4-Ho2(WO4)3 system. The region of existence of solid solutions on the basis of holmium tungstate, crystallizing in rhombic syngony (structural type of scandium tungstate, sp.gr. Pnca), was also revealed in the system. Concentration range of solid solution formation doesn't exceed ≅6% at 1100 deg C
