The influence of plastic strain at 4,2 K on the structure and superconducting transition temperature of zirconium
AbstractAbstract
[en] The effect of tension deformation at 4,2 K with subsequent warming to room temperature upon the defective structure and the superconducting transition temperature Tc of electron-beam melted zirconium is studied. The appreciable increase in Tc (be 20%) is due to enhanced superconductivity at the sites of localized plastic strain at the twin boundaries and is connected with the effective change of the electron attraction constant
