Data-acquisition device for multielectrode emission and ionization chambers used to determine profile of phasotron particle beam
AbstractAbstract
[en] An apparatus for measurement of the space profiles of particle beams by means of two-coordinate chambers (16 electrodes per coordinate) is described. The working current range is 10-9-10-6 A per electrode. A current integrator is connected to each electrode. After completion of a measurement cycle, the charges that have been accumulated in the integrators are successively converted to digital code and sent to a personal computer. 5 refs., 4 figs
