[en] Objective: To evaluate the effectiveness of internal iliac artery embolotherapy (IIAE) for primary postpartum hemorrhage (PPH). Methods: 9 cases of PPH were treated with IIAE. Results: Selective catheterization and embolotherapy were successful in 9 cases of PPH, with only one case of left lower extremity arterial thrombosis. No serious complications occurred in others. Conclusions: IIAE is a quick, safe, effective technique for PPH
