[en] The author presents the french perspectives of the geological disposal of nuclear waste management policy. It shows how the french legal framework has generated a coherent and powerful research programme with strong national and international collaborations. The results are important and concrete and the progress is considerable. Deep geological storage is preferred solution. (A.L.B.)
