[en] This paper discusses the CANDU position and prospects in China. Key factors in CANDU project promotion are the excellent performance of the existing two Qinshan CANDU-6 units, popularizing significance of advanced fuel technology, the nuclear cooperation between Canada and China governments and cooperation to promote new CANDU projects.
