AbstractAbstract
[en] Facilities required for nuclear structure work was set up in IUAC and used by users across country for mere than two decades. Some of the facilities are Gamma Detector Array (GDA), HlRA-GDA and Indian National Gamma Detector Array (INGA). INGA was a national collaboration between Indian Universities, IUAC, SINP, TIFR, UGC-DAE-CSR-KC, VECC and BARC. The array can accommodate 24 Compton suppressed clover detectors with ∼ 5% photo-peak efficiency. Few physics cases will be discussed with results from IUAC experiments. Static chirality in 102Rh, Magnetic rotation in In isotopes and robustness of collectivity in nucleon ∼ 50 region are some of the physics phenomena which will be presented. (author)
