AbstractAbstract
[en] High spin states in 24Mg populated by the 10B(16O,d) and 12C(16O,α) reactions have been investigated, and the data have been used to check the suitability of the Hauser-Feshbach (H-F) technique for determining spin values. It is concluded that the H-F method, coupled with additional information, may be a significant means for locating high spin states. (4 figures) (U.S.)
