Job Vacancy: Expat PSD Team Leader (Eastern European National) We are currently seeking qualified candidates for multiple upcoming vacancies as Expat Eastern European PSD Team Leaders. Location Basra/Iraq Rotation: 8 weeks on / 4 weeks off Essential Requirements: • Experience: A minimum of six (6) years of prior military or law enforcement experience with an exemplary conduct record. Candidates must have no criminal history and should not have been dishonorably discharged or convicted under the Defense Force Disciplinary Act (1982) or its equivalent. • Previous experience in a similar role in Iraq is required. • Qualifications: Relevant PSD or other qualifications obtained through military or policing roles. Alternatively, PSD or other qualifications or accreditations from a recognized private sector training organization are acceptable. • First Aid Training: At least FREC 3, MIRA, or FPOS certification to provide First Aid in Remote Situations, or a higher standard suitable for high-threat environments. • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills. Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) is required for this position. • Team Leadership: Proven experience in developing and managing teams effectively. • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong leadership and exceptional problem-solving abilities. Desirable Skills: • Proficiency in Arabic (Iraqi dialect) is a significant advantage. Key Responsibilities: • Organizing reconnaissance and/or liaison activities. • Conducting client liaison prior to the commencement of tasks. • Collaborating with the COM/OM to prepare and plan all PSD operations. • Commanding and controlling the PSD team during operations. • Conducting team and client briefings prior to missions. • Leading team training initiatives. • Scheduling work cycles and ensuring efficient operations.
