Iraq E-Gate for Financial Services (SWITCH) is giving You the opportunity to join its team as Deputy Head of Unit - Regulatory & Compliance Job Title: Deputy Head of Unit - Regulatory & Compliance Work location: Baghdad Workdays: 5 Work time: Full-Time I. Main Responsibilities and Duties ·Develop, implement, and review policies, procedures, and decisions issued by the company in relation to compliance aspects. ·Propose necessary policies and procedures for new services or update existing ones in relation to compliance aspects ·Prepare and present compliance reports to senior management and regulatory authorities detailing the outcomes of compliance monitoring activities. ·Annually assess and evaluate compliance risks or as required by business needs and establish appropriate procedures to mitigate such risks in coordination with the company's Risk Department. ·Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and internal policies. · Create compliance matrix to monitor and audit all departments functions, or outcomes to ensure alignment with the instructions and requirements of the Central Bank of Iraq. ·Establish a compliance library that includes all relevant laws, regulations, and directives applicable to the company. ·Prepare a list of the services and products offered by the company, in collaboration with other departments, highlighting the nature of services provided to regulatory authorities. ·Management of CBI communication in respect to all its correspondences, instructions and regulations to ensure ON TIME response to CBI. ·Lead and implement regular compliance training programs for employees or functions, where applicable. ·Manage day-to-day activities of the compliance team, providing support and guidance. II. Education and Trainings/ Experience · Bachelor’s degree in business, law or financial and Banking Sciences, · Certified in relevant training courses, such as CCO, CCM, or other professional compliance certifications. · A minimum of 5 years of experience in Compliance and E Payment industry is preferred.
