Specialized Panel Discussion: "Children, War, Responsibilities, and Commitments" A panel on “The Role of NGOs in Addressing Children and War” was recently held at the Conference Hall of the Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Adolescents. The event brought together experts and leaders of non-governmental organizations to explore critical issues surrounding the impact of war on children. 🔹 Dr. Abed Akbari, an international relations researcher, shared alarming insights from Gaza. He highlighted the dire situation as described by Dr. Marwan Al-Hams, Director of Field Hospitals for Gaza’s Ministry of Health, who noted last week that healthcare teams in Gaza lack access to essential drugs and nutritional supplements for treating malnourished children. 🔹 Dr. Afifeh Abedi, a foreign policy researcher, stressed the troubling persistence of war despite humanity’s advancements. She criticized the global double standards, noting that in some parts of the world, human lives are treated as invaluable, while in others, even widespread suffering fails to draw global attention. 🔹 Dr. Aidin Mahdizadeh Tehrani, a researcher specializing in children and adolescents, highlighted the profound impact of war on young lives. He emphasized that the global community often overlooks conflicts like those in Gaza. Drawing from a 2022 UN Special Representative’s report, he revealed a 112% increase in attacks on schools and hospitals and documented over 27,180 severe human rights violations during wars and conflicts that year. Of these, 8,831 were direct violations of children’s rights. Supporting the War-Stricken Children of Gaza and Lebanon through art. The international art event “We Endure” brought together 13 NGOs, children, and artists to raise awareness for the helpless children of Gaza and Lebanon. Using the symbols of the peace crane and the watermelon (representing resilience and protest), the event featured 75+ children’s paintings, performances, video art, olive tree planting, and origami-making, showcasing the power of art in amplifying silent voices. The Art Event “Iranian Children Supporting the Helpless Children of Gaza and Lebanon” Takes Place / We Endure 🔹 The international art event titled “We Endure”, supporting Iranian children’s solidarity with the helpless children of Gaza and Lebanon, hosted audiences for two days with the collaboration of 13 NGOs, the National Network of Humanitarian NGOs, and the Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults. 🔸 The event was inaugurated on Sunday, December 8th, at 9:30 AM, in the Ghadir Hall of the Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults, in the presence of officials, experts, NGO leaders, philanthropist network managers, media representatives, and international figures. 🔹 The event featured over 75 paintings by Iranian children, performances, video art, letter writing, olive tree planting, and origami crane-making by children attending the exhibition, as well as other artistic programs to support the children of Gaza and Lebanon. 🔸 Moreover, on the second day of the event, a specialized program with university professors in the fields of media, children, and NGOs took place. 🔹 The event was organized with the support and collaboration of the National Network of Humanitarian NGOs and the Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults, along with 13 internationally active NGOs, including IFDA Institute, Kiana Cultural and Social Group, Society for Supporting Recoverees, Tavalod-e-Dobareh Charity Association, Mehr Eliya Charity Foundation, Center for Women's Economic Development, Organization for Defending Victims of Violence, Action Institute for Reducing Human Suffering, Association for the Support of Refugee Women and Children (HAMI), Paria Bright Assistance Campaign, Support Institution for Helpless Children (KOMAK), Association for Supporting Afghan Residents in Iran (KAMA), and Mehrev Peace Pars International Institute. 🔸 This artistic event was hold on Sunday, December 8th, and Monday, December 9th, 2024, from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM, in the Ghadir Hall of the Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults, located on Dr. Fatemi Street. 🔷 It is noteworthy that after the exhibition, all artworks and artistic programs from the event will be sent for display at three international assemblies in three different countries. #we_endure #Global_Solidarity

🔻 حضور مدیرعامل موسسه بین المللی کنشگران توسعه فردا در نشست تخصصی «چالش ها و راهکارهای بازتوانی زنان آسیب دیده و در معرض آسیب» 🔸به گزارش روابط عمومی مرکز پژوهشهای مجلس شورای اسلامی، نشست تخصصی «چالشها و راهکارهای بازتوانی زنان آسیب دیده و در معرض آسیب» با حضور فاطمه محمدبیگی، رئیس فراکسیون زنان مجلس، زهره سادات لاجوردی، عضو کمیسیون اجتماعی مجلس، غلامعباس ترکی،معاون پیشگیری از وقوع جرم و آسیبهای اجتماعی دادستان کل کشور، هادی افراسیابی، مدیرکل دفتر مطالعات اجتماعی مرکز پژوهشهای مجلس، متین رمضانخواه، معاون اجتماعی و استانهای معاونت راهبردی ریاستجمهوری، مهری سادات موسوی، معاون سلامت اجتماعی سازمان بهزیستی، سوده نجفی، عضو هیئت رئیسه شورای اسلامی شهر تهران، ابوالفضل اقبالی، عضو هیئت علمی دانشگاه الزهرا (س)، فاطمه محمدی مدیر گروه آسیبهای اجتماعی، دکتر مونا رحمانی مدیرعامل موسسه بین المللی کنشگران توسعه فردا و جمعی از کارشناسان و پژوهشگران این حوزه برگزار شد. 🔹فاطمه محمدبیگی، رئیس فراکسیون زنان مجلس شورای اسلامی نیز در این نشست اظهار کرد: درخواست ما برای تشکیل فراکسیون زنان و خانواده این بود که در این حوزه به بازآرایی اندیشهها و خردجمعیبپردازیم تا بتوانم مولفههای مرتبط با زنان و خانواده را در سراسر کشور و با الگوی زن تراز انقلاب اسلامی مورد توجه قرار دهیم. با وجود قوانین و اسناد بالادستی متعدد درباره حفظ جایگاه و حمایت از زنان و خانواده، قشر بانوان در کشور هنوز در جایگاه اصلی خود قرار ندارد. پس از پیروزی انقلاب اسلامی، اتفاقات خوبی در حوزه حمایت از زنان شده، با این حال به نظر میرسد این قوانین و مصوبات یکی از کارهای نیمه کاره جمهوری اسلامی باشد که رهبر انقلاب نیز بر آن تأکید دارند. وی وجود چالشهای حوزه زنان را باوجود قوانین و مقررات متعدد، یکی از کارهای نیمه کاره در کشور دانست و افزود: در این زمینه میتوان به مواردی چون عدم توجه جدی به مسائل سلامت جسمی و روانشناختی زنان، بیتوجهی به زنان در برنامهریزی دولتمردان، عدم توجه به شأن و کرامت خانواده، بیتوجهی به نیازها و مشکلات زنان سرپرست خانوار با مشاغل سخت و بدون حمایت دستگاههای دولتی و... اشاره کرد. 🔸دکتر مونا رحمانی نیز در اختتامیه این مراسم گفت: در بحث زنان آسیب دیده علاوه بر زنانی که دستخوش آسیبهای اجتماعی شدن باید نتایج زنان آسیب دیده را نیز دید که از جمله آنها میتوان به موضوع کودکان بازمانده از تحصیل اشاره کرد. بازگشت این چرخه کودکان به آسیبهای اجتماعی و همچنین زنان میانسال و کهنسال با توجه به نزدیک شدن به موضوع بسته شدن پنجره جمعیتی ایران و همینطور بهره مندی از تجارب زنان شاغل پس از بازنشستگی در حوزههای اجتماعی نیز میبایست مد نظر قرار گیرد. 🔹وی افزود: علاوه براین؛ متاسفانه موضوع قاچاق کودک یا بحثهای کودک همسری نیز از اهمیت بسیاری برخوردار است؛ همچنین موضوع اشتغال زود هنگام که عملاً کودک را از هرگونه آموزشی برای اجتماع پذیری محروم میکند نیز بسیار حائز اهمیت است چراکه این افراد درحال ورود به اجتماع هستند و میتوانند با رعایت نکاتی هرچند کوچک از بسیاری از آسیبهای اجتماعی جلوگیری کنند. ... #کنشگران_توسعه_فردا #موسسه_بین_المللی_کنشگران_توسعه_فردا #موسسه_کنشگران_توسعه_فردا #زنان #مجلس_شورای_اسلامی #کمیسیون_زنان #خانواده #مونا_رحمانی #دکتر_مونا_رحمانی

Last week, IFDA hosted over 50 vulnerable and underprivileged children at the child-friendly space in the Shirabad Multi-Purpose Service Center in Zahedan.
