Yesterday, Arctic Fish obtained a new license granting a maximum allowed biomass (MAB) of 8,000 tonnes. Within this allocation, 5,200 tonnes are designated for fertile salmon, while the remaining 2,800 tonnes are allocated for trout. This replaces a previous license permitting 5,300 tonnes of trout. Consequently, Arctic Fish's total MAB capacity now stands at 29,800 tonnes. Notably, 27,000 tonnes are specifically designated for fertile salmon across five distinct farming areas. The acquisition of these new licenses marks a pivotal moment for Arctic Fish, ensuring the company's planned growth trajectory. This milestone holds significance not only for our organization but also for the broader community in the Westfjords region. https://lnkd.in/dHheYB6P

Today, the Arctic Fish Q4 report was made available. 2023 marks an all-time high in harvested volumes where the company harvested a total of 11,878 tonnes. The biological production performed as expected after a difficult Q3 and autumn where lice issues where extremely challenging. All fish are now being harvested at the company’s own new harvesting facility and the harvesting operations have gone according to plan and expectations. https://lnkd.in/eDpZKgbY
