Office Hours with KPMG Ísland Office hours is an additional service of the KLAK - Venture Mentoring Service, where former participants of KLAK's business accelerators and Dafna can book 30-minute meetings with experienced experts from the group of mentors or from KLAK VMS partners, free of charge. At the meetings, participants have the opportunity to receive practical advice and guidance related to the development and operation of their start-up company. Examples of topics include legal issues, intellectual property and human resources. On November 21st, experts from KPMG will offer Office Hours meetings in Groska. For more than a decade, KPMG has been a strong supporter of startup companies and an active participant in the development of the innovation environment in Iceland. KPMG provides startups, investors and others related to innovation with diverse services and advice in the field of auditing and accounting, legal and tax matters as well as consulting services. Furthermore, KPMG has a partnership with ECIT's accounting and payroll services. At any given time, there are usually around 100-150 startups doing business with KPMG across all service lines. Anna Guðrún Gunnlaugsdóttir, accountant at KPMG, and Kjartan Ottósson from KPMG's corporate consultancy will discuss the preparation of annual accounts and tax returns, investor presentations, planning and more with interested companies.
