From November 22nd to 24th, we had the chance to be part of "III DAYS OF ARCHITECTURE / Limitless" in Podgorica, Montenegro, connecting with some incredible colleagues from all over Europe and learning about their work through some truly engaging presentations and talks. We were invited as speakers and jury members and we had the opportunity of sharing our vision for Podgorica’s Park of Arts and Culture, discussing about its future with the Director of the Museum of Contemporary Art (Muzej Savremene umjetnosti Crne Gore) and his amazing team. We experienced the energy, creativity, and warmth of the Montenegrin people. Their bold colors, unique materials and vibrant spirit has been truly inspiring and showed us a strong push to be part of the international architectural stage. This is the aim of the Parco Schuster project, which highlights Rome's rich #biodiversity through an integrated strategy that balances social value, water conservation, and the preservation of local heritage. The project envisions a "natural framework" that restores #ParcoSchuster to the #community with enhanced accessibility, creating a vibrant and welcoming public space where people can engage in social interactions and inclusive activities, away from the city's traffic noise. This socio-environmental #sustainability plan unfolds through three interconnected #landscapes, offering a natural refuge for both residents and visitors beneath the iconic Basilica of San Paolo. What at an intense and enriching week has been for a-fact! On Tuesday Andrea Rossi and Pierluigi Turco were invited to review the students March of the Sustainable Environmental Design course of the Architectural Association, as ex alumni, they shared suggestions and tips on how to approach design to achieve the free running target in their dissertation project that the course requires. Some inspiring ideas from the new generation of young architect exploring sustainable architecture in all the part of the globe. Thanks Paula Cadima for the invitation. On Wednesday a-fact was invited in the beautiful crafted new home of Hawkins\Brown to host the cpd "Tackling environmental, economic, and social challenges with fact-based sustainability". It was humbling and inspiring being part of the family for a day, but also very encouraging to get positive feedback on the projects we are working on and our vision of architecture. Thanks again to Nick Gaskell and Francesco Montaguti for inviting us and for their continous support and insights. On Thursday a-fact joined Perspective Uk 2024, a remarkable event organised by THE PLAN in the beautiful location of Church House Westminster.
