AFFETTI Pumps has accepted a new challenge: to design and produce an ISO 2858 / 5199 pump in thermoplastic material with a duty point of 300 m³/h (Flow) at 100 mlc (Head) for a chemical washing of tanks in a refinery. To meet the design requirements the pump has: - double volute to minimize radial thrusts - high-performance hydraulic design to reach an efficiency greater than 80% - EN-JS 1025 armour to provide strength and withstand pressures according to ISO 5199 - parts in contact with the process liquid in PVDF for high resistance to corrosion - internal mechanical seal in Silicon Carbide faces and metal parts in Hastelloy C4 for pressures in the sealing chamber and resistance to corrosion. Have a look at this normalized ISO 2858 5199 long coupled pump, Affetti series CGI-T (Taurus) which, together with her "twin sister", are going to power a system in a refinery. The series CGI-T fully armoured is suitable against high pressure and high temperature process fluids. The pump in this picture will run 300m3/h@100mlc. Installed motor is 132Kw Siemens/Innomotics. Generally speaking the pumps in our range are suitable to transfer acid and basics solutions, the parts in contact with the liquid are build from a solid plastic (PP, PVDF, PE-UHMW) block and the gaskets present are in the right material (EPDM, FPM, FFKM). ..::𝐍𝐄𝐖 𝐏𝐎𝐒𝐓::.. Have a look at these two normalized ISO 2858 5199 long coupled pumps, Affetti series CGI-S (Scorpio), powering a gas cleaning system in France. The complete batch of 16 pumps are installed in 4 lines. The pumps in the pictures are using primary label single mechanical seal with API PLAN 32 against the solid particles coming from this specific process. After 2 years now that pumps are working, the original seal is still there. The CGI pump range has been designed in order to face strong applications. Easy to handle, the pumps of this range are strong, produced in their components with high thickness to give a product with the maximum reliability. The series CGV-E, vertical long coupled pump, is the improved version of the previous CGV-N series. New hydraulic design with higher efficiency and lower power consumption therefore cheaper electricity bills at customer sites. Also, It means smaller sizes for pumps and motors and more competitive price level. The pump support and shaft have been improved in order to withstand the mechanical stress coming from process.   𝐅𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐒 -The materials in contact with the pumped liquid are thermoplastic (PP-PVDF-PEHD); the column length is available from 500 to 5000 mm. On request, longer ones with reinforced and customized design are available. -Static guide bushing in PTFE CG (SiC available on request). -Rotating guide bushing in Al2O3 (SiC available on request). -Balanced shaft made of 42CrMo4 Carbon steel, structured to easily support torsional and radial forces. Made exclusively from solid bar stock using mechanical machining processes and fully coated in thermoplastic material. -Elastic coupling fitted to absorb any axial misalignment and allow the motor to be disassembled without having to remove the pump.
