The most idyllic Coliving in Italy When I moved my base from Berlin to Italy 3 years ago, I was dreaming of living in community. I wanted it all: 🌿 life in nature 🍇 la dolce vita 🌍 true connection to locals  💛 a home with people who share my values Tertulia is the representation of that dream. A place where location-independent nature lovers meet to connect, co-work, share stories and resources and much more… Imagine living on a permaculture farm in the forest of the Italian Appenine in Tuscany ⛰ 🌾 When I came to Tertulia the first time, I did not want to leave. Same for the second time 💛 I am honoured and grateful for the opportunity to co-facilitate a Coliving Laboratory at Tertulia for the month of August this year, together with Francesco Boldrini. The laboratory focuses on establishing ways to foster local integration and impact of colivings in rural areas. Do you have experiences with rural colivings? Today we share with you a personal story of how our name - AGAIA - was born, and why this word encloses the spirit of our community. 🫶🏻 The name “AGAIA” was given by Pepe, the son of a good friend and Anja’s godson. Pepe has a seldom type of trisomy, and therefore doesn’t speak many words. AGAIA was one of the first clear verbal words he said (and invented 🥰), and we always perceived as an excited scream of motivation to take action. Also, “gaia” means “earth”, all living things, the wonder of life, which we feel so well related to our brand.
