Thrilled to start a new EU co-funded project on #DIGITALRIGHTS! The Union of Italian Criminal Chambers / Unione delle Camere Penali Italiane is a Partner in the DIGITAL RIGHTS project, co-funded by the European Union under the JUST 2027 programme, which aims to strengthen the implementation of the EU directives on procedural safeguards for suspects or defendants in criminal proceedings where criminal law is confronted with the use of new technologies. 🤔 Do you want to know what data-driven discrimination is? 🧐 Do you know why data are so relevant for preventing and addressing discrimination? 💡 Follow us to discover more about the DATA EQUALITY project! 🇪🇺 The project focuses on discrimination and data-driven discrimination and how to prevent new emerging forms of discrimination by collecting and exchanging unbiased data through multi-agency cooperation. 🗣 As part of the INTERCEPTED Project’s Online Seminar Series, together with the ASIT Project, an online meeting focusing on Strengthening Digital Capabilities to Counter Human Trafficking, will be held on November 13, 2024 from 14:00 to 16:30 (CET). ➡ The seminar will delve into current trends in online human trafficking and the digital business model. It will subsequently present OSINT and forensic technology for trafficking investigations. Additionally, the practical aspects of multi-agency model and public-private collaboration will be addressed.
