Im folgenden nur einige der Vorteile: - keine allergischen Reaktionen mehr - kein Einfluss auf die Nierenfunktion Dadurch ist auch kein Nierenversagen mehr möglich. - keine Begrenzung der Angiografiezeiten mehr Kohlendioxid kann einfach über die Lunge abgeatmet und damit unbegrenzt verabreicht werden. - Das Verfahren ist im Vergleich viel kostengünstiger als das Vorgehen mit Kontrastmittel. - Wie bisher mit Kontrastmittel ist mit dieser neuen Behandlungsmethode die gesamte Strombahn bis zum Fuß darstellbar. Thank you Rob from Intevene Medical for assisting WA based hospitals in obtaining such a important technology allowing safe delivery of endovascular treatments to be provided to high risk patients.

Le Dr Raouf Ayari, chirurgien vasculaire à l’Hôpital Européen Marseille, a traité par voie humérale gauche sans produits de contraste iodés, grâce à la technologie Angiodroid un patient de 74 ans atteint d’insuffisance rénale et multi-opéré. L’examen Doppler a révélé des sténoses sur l’artère iliaque primitive gauche, sur l’artère iliaque externe gauche et une sténose intra-stent de l’artère fémorale commune. Le patient a été traité par l’application d’un ballon actif Medtronic Cardiac and Vascular Impact 7/40 et 6/40 après inflation primaire prolongée et un ballon Paclitaxel 6/40 via un introducteur Destination Terumo Cardiovascular de 90 cm de long dans la salle hybride Siemens Healthineers Artis Zee.
