Balli il Lanificio and Museo del Tessuto at Mittelmoda in Gorizia, the European Capital of Culture 2025. A meeting between business, culture, and education.
In the context of Mittelmoda International Lab, a nationally relevant event aimed at high school students in Friuli Venezia Giulia with a focus on fashion and clothing, Leonardo Raffaelli and Filippo Guarini participated as speakers, presenting projects related to the exhibitions on Walter Albini.
The event saw the participation of over 500 students and an audience of industry professionals from both national and European levels.
The meeting was an extraordinary opportunity for dialogue between the business world and cultural institutions, such as #MuseoDelTessuto of Prato.
On this occasion, Leonardo Raffaelli emphasized the importance of synergies between different entities united by a shared vision: “Sharing with such an engaged audience the connection between business and cultural institutions, like Museo del Tessuto, demonstrates how it is possible to build smart alliances that enrich the identity of each part and, above all, enhance the city of Prato as an international reference point in the textile and fashion industries."
Filippo Guarini, Director of Museo del Tessuto, reaffirmed the significance of initiatives like this for the educational and cultural role of the museum: “Being present at Mittelmoda District allows us to share our work and the large textile district that drives our region. We need to tell stories like that of Walter Albini, who continues to inspire new generations of designers and fashion professionals."
This event marked a significant opportunity to strengthen the bond between the worlds of culture, education, and business while taking another step forward in celebrating the textile traditions that define the city of Prato.
