Two more successful press conversions in Thailand 🇹🇭 Upgrading ISOWA FALCON, and IBIS machines, from the OEM metering roll and pump systems to BFT CARBON carbon fibre chamber systems, BFT FLEXO GT-CORR inking, recovery and wash up systems, coupled with Ceramic Anilox Engravers Pty Ltd eCell anilox rolls. Goals of the customer: - Improve print quality - Reduce customer rejects - Reduce ink consumption per job - Improve ink recovery after press run Measured results from customers internal trials (*Same viscosity, same pH, same job run which they had struggled with previously, no added water or surfactants) TEST 1: OEM Rubber roll system: Bucket weighed pre run at 10kgs Press run of 1000 sheets Post ink recovery and wash up, bucket weighed 7kgs = 3kgs ink consumption total TEST 2 after installation: BFT Chamber + GT-CORR Bucket weighed pre run at 11kg Print run 1000 sheets All print targets hit, density and fine line detail Post ink recovery and wash up, bucket weighed 10kg = 1kg ink consumption total 66% less ink used, with a better print result. With these presses running between 20-30 job changes per day, management were so impressed with the results and ROI, they asked us to measured up further machines on the spot to proceed with more conversions across the plant. Thailand and South East Asia are having a huge shift towards improved print quality and on press savings to stay competitive in the markets. Customers are leading the charge by demanding better print, and our partners are well positioned to assist. With more big projects in the pipeline, we are looking forward to a very successful 2025.
