Bottega17 Architetti Associati with Arch. Sossio de Vita and the HOMU Architectural Studio reveals its design proposal for the large Bertalia-Lazzaretto area within the Municipality of Bologna (BO) through the development of an ERS (Social Residential Building) Plan. The main objective of the project is to create a neighborhood conceived as a civic center and transform the current inaccessibility of the area into permeability. The project recognizes in the multiple and plural condition of the context in which it is inserted an opportunity for the creation of an unconventional urban centrality, which does not impose an ideal ideological unity; working on the complementary nature of the different episodes, connecting and reducing the distance between the different parts of the city, facilitating and intensifying the experience. The project Masterplan defines the infrastructure, the coordinated set of fundamental architectural, landscape and technological conditions. Before defining itself in terms of image and language, the proposal addresses issues related to the relationships of proximity, distance and permeability between the spaces of the residences and the city parks. The project, in accordance with the city of Bologna's plan forecasts, aims to reduce traffic, combat pollution and promote sustainable mobility. From an architectural point of view, the facades of the buildings communicate expressively and create an indissoluble bond with the tree-lined avenue that is the protagonist of the project. The sustainable image and the vegetal elevations characterize the project proposal, characterizing it and emphasizing the desire of the working group to create social housing that is sustainable from an economic but above all environmental point of view. The design of the residences is a mere consequence of a targeted and detailed urban study that aims to stitch the neighborhood together along the east-west and north-south axis. Our Project for the "New Enrico Fermi Primary School" has been awarded with the 1st Prize 🥇 New School building - Two-stage design competition, Technical and economic feasibility project Team: Arch. Francesco Martella - Arch. Alessandra Guerreschi - Bottega17 Architetti Associati - Operating srl - Arch. Marco Franciolini Location: Macerata (MC) Client: Province of Macerata (MC) The Enrico Medi primary school is characterized by a compact architectural plan with all the rooms well connected and easily accessible. Inside the school, a green courtyard serves as an outdoor area for teaching, it becomes the fulcrum of the project, becoming an active protagonist of the public building. The overhang of the flat roof is configured as an elegant gesture that gives greater character to the public work and allows protection of the building from atmospheric agents. The building was designed on a single level to favor a better landscape insertion in the reference context. The internal configuration of the spaces presents a high degree of flexibility to favor scenarios that can change over time and different spatial configurations. As regards the plant choices and the materials used, choices have been made to maximize the sustainability of the complex and reduce maintenance costs throughout the life cycle of the building. The external spaces will be appropriately equipped to optimize the functionality and allow their enhancement and intensive use. The external spaces within the project are diversified by function. The areas pertaining to the building body are instead arranged in adequately equipped play areas and a series of educational gardens that are essential for the conscious growth of the student. The Design of the new Residential area Via Fornacina within the Municipality of Reggello (FI) has been approved ☑ The Architectural Project is distinguished by a calibrated and respectful insertion into the context. The Architectures respect the place and want to give the area an innovative and dynamic character, always maintaining a strong connection with the landscape. The design will is to create a monolithic Architecture that is rooted in the territory, but at the same time has a modern and futuristic character. The volumes like stones are triggered in the landscape thanks to the bases covered with local stone creating an indissoluble bond. The pure volumes of the Architectures maintain clear and elegant finishes guaranteeing a high aesthetic value. The new residences present the highest standards from an energy point of view, aiming for high environmental sustainability and the reduction of consumption. Bottega17 Architetti associati is pleased to announce the 2nd prize 🥈 in the International Architectural Competition LICAM Multifunctional School Complex Via Torino - Province of Aosta (AO). The new public building is inserted within the intervention area so as to be perceived as a permeable structure with respect to the urban context. The T-shaped layout, created by the intersection of a lower volume, with a development on two levels along Via Torino and a longitudinal body of six levels above ground, defines new permeable external areas in continuity with the future construction of the new public park in the former Puchoz stadium. Given the conformation, three directions are generated within the intervention area: the axis along via Torino, the road axis that starts from viale Garibaldi, to the east and crosses the new school building and, finally, the axis distribution system inside the building that generates a cross-shaped connective space. Marco Franciolini | Arch. Lorenzo Castaldini | Arch. Mattia Rossi We're happy to announce that our proposal for the new school in Reggello Has won the 5th prize. For the construction of the new primary school, an area was identified near the lot where the current "Masaccio" primary school stands, delimited to the west by Via Brunetto Latini, to the north by a municipal car park, while to the south and east by private lots, within the town of Cascia. The volume, with a compact rectangular shape, is spread over two floors above ground and is inserted into the urban fabric in continuity with the distribution of the consolidated building, with a south-west – north-east development. The volume, starting from a rectangular base, develops on two levels and is set up following the rural architectural typology of the area, resulting in a body with a compact shape in continuity with the local tradition. This is then closed by a gabled roof, a traditional construction type of the place which allows for the establishment of a strong dialogue with the context.
