  • On November 5, representatives from the National Agency for Railway, Road, and Motorway Safety (ANSFISA) conducted an inspection at the CMB construction site for the undergrounding of the railway line passing through the city of Andria in Puglia. The visit was organized in collaboration with Ferrotramviaria S.p.a., the same Infrastructure Division, and CMB. The main goal was to examine in detail all procedures required for the commissioning of the Andria South - Andria North section. It also provided an opportunity to explore key aspects of the project, such as the comprehensive "railway system," infrastructure interoperability, and the Technical Specifications for Interoperability that ensure safety and operational continuity across Europe. Accompanied by Site Manager Vittore Buzzi and colleague Fabio Impera, participants reviewed the project documents and inspected key ongoing activities. These included the laying of anti-vibration mats and ballast along the railway line, the installation of metal frameworks for sound absorbing panels and guardrails, as well as reinforced concrete and masonry work at Andria stations, including waterproofing, external arrangements, and civil installations along the line.

  • It's time to take stock of the ambitious redevelopment project that CMB is undertaking for WaltherPark in the heart of Bolzano. This is the largest private construction site in the history of Alto Adige/South Tyrol, both in terms of scale and the 600 million euros invested. With a 50-meter “elevation difference,” the site spans levels from the fourth basement to the seventh above ground, covering a total area of 120,000 square meters divided between a shopping mall, food hall, private residences, offices, and a hotel. WaltherPark is nestled in the heart of Bolzano, between the train station and the historic center, surrounded by green spaces, squares, and pedestrian zones, aiming to become a major attraction for visitors from the city, the region, and tourists alike.

  • The future Snam headquarter is located in Milan as part of the Symbiosis urban regeneration project, promoted by Covivio, where CMB has already built the multitenant building in Via Orobia/Via Vezza d’Oglio. The new office building , currently under construction, has been designed by the architectural firm Piuarch and will consist of three stacked volumes over 14 floors, with a total surface area of approximately 19,000 square meters. The project involves the construction of civil works, mechanical, electrical, and special systems, as well as opaque and glazed facades. Two underground floors are planned for parking, while the fourteen above-ground floors are divided into three staggered, stacked volumes. The building will achieve the main national and international sustainability  certifications (LEED & WELL and CASACLIMA). One of the project's standout features is the continuity of greenery between outdoor and indoor spaces, which will promote air quality in the work environment. Outside, a park of over 8,500 square meters will be developed as a spontaneous forest with a low-maintenance undergrowth and water features. Inside, a large greenhouse will encompass two floors of the building, while the terrace on the seventh floor will also be dedicated to greenery.

  • On October 2nd, at the "Teatro Centofiori" space in Bologna, the Green Line Tram project for Bologna (Linea Verde) was presented to the press and stakeholders with two dedicated seminars. Mobility Councilor Mrs. Valentina Orioli and Mayor Mr. Matteo Lepore emphasized how the project, which will integrate with the Red Line (Linea Rossa) already under construction, will help connect Bologna's neighborhoods with more peripheral areas, creating a positive impact not only on mobility but also on the quality of life for citizens, who will benefit from greater accessibility throughout the city. Luciano D’Onofrio, representing CMB, presented the project, focusing on the construction methods, the phased approach to the work, and the sequencing of the construction sites—necessary considerations to minimize the impact on city traffic. The Green Line will run from the southern terminus located in the center of Bologna, then extend to the SFM Corticella Station.
