The future Snam headquarter is located in Milan as part of the Symbiosis urban regeneration project, promoted by Covivio, where CMB has already built the multitenant building in Via Orobia/Via Vezza d’Oglio. The new office building , currently under construction, has been designed by the architectural firm Piuarch and will consist of three stacked volumes over 14 floors, with a total surface area of approximately 19,000 square meters.
The project involves the construction of civil works, mechanical, electrical, and special systems, as well as opaque and glazed facades. Two underground floors are planned for parking, while the fourteen above-ground floors are divided into three staggered, stacked volumes. The building will achieve the main national and international sustainability certifications (LEED & WELL and CASACLIMA).
One of the project's standout features is the continuity of greenery between outdoor and indoor spaces, which will promote air quality in the work environment. Outside, a park of over 8,500 square meters will be developed as a spontaneous forest with a low-maintenance undergrowth and water features. Inside, a large greenhouse will encompass two floors of the building, while the terrace on the seventh floor will also be dedicated to greenery.
