🚴♂️C6XP-2 on the roads of the upcoming "Giro d'Italia"! 🏁 SEFI's C6XP-2 is being used by "Cadore asfalti" to construct a new road junction in the province of Belluno (Italy). Set up in micropile mode, the machine is executing Ø200 mm piles, with Ø140 mm reinforcement, up to a depth of 9 metres. 🛤️A Casagrande C4XP-2 and a C5RXP-2 crawler drill are rehabilitating a disused railway near Agrigento, Italy. 🏗️ These machines are drilling micro piles up to a depth of 10 metres. 🤝🏻Thanks to Air Service for their support in providing Casagrande machines for rental across Italy. Casagrande C16XP-2 in the Trentino valleys (Italy) The C16XP-2 is the top of the range of Casagrande hydraulic crawler drills. Palingeo S.p.A. is currently using the machine to build the foundations of a new 3.8 km railway line, that will improve access between the valleys of Bolzano. Specifically, the drill rig is drilling 220 mm diameter micro piles up to a 29 m depth. The C16XP-2 also offers the following features: - Radio control for remote handling and drilling; - Track widening for greater stability; - Rotating turret for excellent positioning; - The rod loader that can carry up to two 9 m rods, to optimize work; A big thanks to Palingeo Spa for their trust in our equipment and for contributing to the development of the local infrastructure! Casagrande C3XP-2 Electric at MET at MIT The C3XP-2 Electric drilling rig is in action at the structural renovation site of a historic early 1900s building at MET, MIT (USA). In a setting rich in history and innovation, our technology is contributing to the new renovation project: micropiles up to 51 m deep and with a diameter of 220 mm, anchored in rock and drilled through layers of Boston Blue Clay and decomposed Cambridge rock, ensuring optimal structural support. The works include: • The adoption of cutting-edge solutions for urban foundations; • The integration of advanced technologies in a historical setting; Thanks to the precision and reliability of the C3XP-2 Electric, this project is setting new standards for foundation solutions in urban environments, with a strong focus on sustainability thanks to its low environmental impact. THE TWINS OF EGYPT! Casagrande recently delivered two B400XP-2 piling rigs to “The Arab Contractors” and we're proud they chose our equipment. These two rigs are working on the Monorail Project in Cairo, arranged in extended crowd winch version with H47 rotary head for piles from 2000 mm to 2600 mm diameter up to 40 m depth. This project will revolutionize rail transport in North Africa with the world's longest driverless light rail system. I GEMELLI D'EGITTO! Casagrande ha recentemente consegnato due macchine da pali B400XP-2 a “The Arab Contractors”, siamo orgogliosi che abbiano scelto le nostre attrezzature. Two B175 XP-2 are used by Negropal Srl in Padua (IT). The two rigs are building the foundations for a business park on a site with an artificial lake filled with aggregates. To reduce the environmental impact and optimize the execution time, the displacement pile technique was chosen: this technique involves the construction of piles that laterally compact the soil without removing it, to improve soil characteristics, increase bearing capacity, and reduce subsidence. Two B175XP-2 multi-purpose rigs were therefore set up in full displacement pile (FDP) mode, drilling piles with a diameter of 420 mm to a depth of up to 18 metres. Due B175 XP-2 in dotazione a Negropal Srl al lavoro a Padova. Le due macchine stanno realizzando le fondazioni per un parco commerciale in un punto in cui era presente un lago artificiale, riempito completamente di inerti. Per ridurre l'impatto ambientale e ottimizzare i tempi di esecuzione, è stata scelta la tecnica dei displacement pile: questa tecnologia prevede la costruzione di pali che compattano il terreno lateralmente senza rimuoverlo, con l'obiettivo di migliorarne le caratteristiche, aumentando la capacità portante e riducendo i cedimenti. Le due B175XP-2 multiuso sono state quindi impostate in modalità Full Displacement Piles (FDP), e stanno perforando pali con un diametro di 420 mm a una profondità fino a 18 metri. A Casagrande B400 XP-2 is working near Prague on the foundations for the new Ciska Lipa highway, which will connect the capital to the German border. The rig, arranged in Crowd Winch mode, is drilling cased piles with a diameter of 1200 mm to a maximum depth of 17 meters. The Crowd winch system allows long casing operations in difficult soil conditions thanks to its long stroke and high extraction/crowd force up to 690 kN. The powerful H40 rotary head with 400 kNm torque is suitable for large pile diameters. Una Casagrande B400 XP-2 è al lavoro nei pressi di Praga per la realizzazione delle fondazioni della nuova autostrada Ciska Lipa, che collegherà la capitale al confine con la Germania. L'attrezzatura, in modalità Crowd Winch, sta perforando pali rivestiti con un diametro di 1200 mm a una profondità massima di 17 metri. Il sistema Pull Down Winch consente di effettuare lunghe operazioni di rivestimento in condizioni di terreno difficili grazie alla lunga corsa e all'elevata forza di estrazione/spinta fino a 690 kN.
