As Pip recalls, seeing the Tangram at Milan Design Week was a “Eureka” moment that redefined his understanding of shape and functionality in kitchens.   Today, Tangram evolves further with two new finishes:   • Groove: With its three-dimensional vertical grooves, Groove creates seamless surfaces, camouflaging joints while celebrating curves. Located in the heart of Rome within the historic Palazzo Taverna, Casa Platform exemplifies a harmonious blend of heritage and contemporary design. As a project by Platform Network - Platform Architecture and Design, it revitalizes this iconic space into a hub for collaboration and networking. Following the successful partnership in Milan, Cesar once again contributed to the project, providing a bespoke kitchen for the new Rome location. The kitchen features an island top and dress-up backsplash in Seminato Breccia Andorra, complemented by metallic lacquered finishes, a Revego column, and doors, plinths, and grooves in Champagne lacquer. This refined mix of materials reflects the project’s balance between tradition and modernity, crafting an inviting yet sophisticated atmosphere. Casa Platform Roma connects past and present, embracing the architectural layers of Palazzo Taverna while restoring its original grandeur with thoughtful modern touches. The bespoke kitchen design enhances functionality and elegance, while the garden, framed by lush banana trees and ambient lighting, offers a serene retreat. Every detail highlights the fusion of Roman tradition with contemporary sensibility. Set within the 15th-century Palazzo Taverna, Casa Platform embodies the essence of transformation, where historical character meets contemporary function. The impressive 7-meter-high central hall, combined with natural materials like clay, dark ash wood, and custom brass finishes, creates an aesthetic that honors the location’s heritage. Casa Platform stands as a gathering place for architects and creatives, where each detail narrates a story of craftsmanship and vision. Martedì scorso, il nostro showroom e la produzione hanno accolto un pubblico d’eccezione: i bambini della Scuola Primaria Guglielmo Marconi di Pramaggiore (VE). È stata un’esperienza speciale vedere questi spazi popolati da occhi curiosi e voci piene di entusiasmo, una presenza che ha portato un’energia nuova in luoghi solitamente riservati agli adulti. La bellezza della loro visita ci ha ricordato quanto sia prezioso condividere il mondo del design con le generazioni future, che osservano e apprendono con una freschezza unica.   Last Tuesday, our showroom and production area welcomed a very special audience: the children from Guglielmo Marconi Primary School in Pramaggiore (VE). It was a unique experience to see these spaces filled with curious eyes and enthusiastic voices—a fresh, vibrant energy in a setting usually reserved for adults.
