In 1990, he brought his vision to life by establishing a center of excellence at Paul-Brousse Hospital, where he trained the next generation of hepato-biliary surgeons. Thirty-four years later, we celebrate the recognition of his invaluable contribution: this place, once simply known as the “Paul-Brousse Hepato-Biliary Center,” now proudly bears his name and becomes the Henri Bismuth Hepato-Biliary Center.
