Milano Digital Week 2024, held from October 10-14, is a distributed event focused on digital innovation and the intersection of #AI and human expression. It includes 107 locations across Comune di Milano downtown, 310 speakers, and multiple thematic hubs exploring topics like Industry 4.0, #digitalhealth, and AI in media. The event serves as a platform for citizens and businesses to engage in discussions about the future of digital transformation. The central hub at Palazzo Giureconsulti offers activities and sessions designed to connect participants with cutting-edge developments in digital culture, fostering collaboration between innovators and the public.
On Saturday 12th of October, from 14:30 to 15:30, Datrix | Embrace the AI Challenge, Ospedale Pediatrico Vittore Buzzi, and CNR IFN participated to a dedicated events at Palazzo Giureconsulti where our innovative Better AI Health project has been presented to general public and key messages around healthcare data security, medical data research via federated network of hospitals, EDAH - European Data Space in Health, AI as decision support system for clinicians, why genomic analysis is crucial for rare diseases, have been presented and discussed.
The event was a notable success, engaging a diverse audience that actively participated in discussions, asking insightful questions throughout. Participants especially appreciated the research efforts addressing #healthcare challenges in a well-structured, EU-coordinated approach. This demonstrated the event’s emphasis on the intersection of digital innovation with crucial sectors like healthcare, allowing attendees to delve into future-forward solutions in a collaborative setting. The thoughtful integration of healthcare topics highlighted the importance of interdisciplinary efforts in shaping digital transformation in Europe.
