Last night, at the exclusive Spazio Dots in Milan, we celebrated the 70th anniversary of the Colnago brand. It was an opportunity to show live the high-end leisurewear capsule collection and the Steelnovo, the two projects with which we wanted to celebrate our history, but with an eye to the future. From 1954 to today, the world of cycling – and the wider world – has changed a lot. The materials, the production techniques, the studies related to the development of new models... in this dynamic universe constantly striving for the avant-garde, we are proud to say that today, as then, we have always remained faithful to our values: passion, craftsmanship, artistry, Italian-ness, exclusivity and truth. We are happy to present a new service dedicated to the owners of Colnago: retrofitting, a method to certify the authenticity of historical Colnago frames. In fact, thanks to a simple and transparent service, owners of Colnago frames can now certify the originality of their vehicle. It is a unique opportunity to enhance one’s heritage. By filling in a form on our website, you can send some pictures of the frame and documents that prove its origin, such as the serial number or an invoice. Colnago experts will review the information and provide a response on the authenticity of the frame kit. Once certified, a certificate of authenticity will be issued and a special tag to apply on the frame, to register it in Blockchain and ensure its security and transparency. #Colnago #Retrofitting

Introducing the Colnago V4Rs Tadej, a special edition of the V4Rs with a livery inspired by all the Slovenian’s victories so far, and designed to go for the next big goals. A bicycle that unites the best of Colnago: its tradition of craftsmanship, being a C-Series entirely Made in Italy, and its glorious and winning history, having being used by Tadej in Florence, during the Grand Départ. From Piazza della Signoria, in front of Palazzo Vecchio and the frieze that inspired the C68 Fleur-de-lys, the riders of the UAE Team Emirates marched towards Piazzale Michelangelo, the viewpoint over Florence. Tadej Pogacar, who will have the rank of captain in a team full of stars - Juan Ayuso, Nils Plitt, Pavel Sivakov, Marc Soler, Tim Wellens, Adam Yates e Joao Almeida - took part in the presentation ceremony with the edition n.1/111 of the C68 Fleur-de-lys, the bike that Colnago created to pay homage to the Grand Départ and the Tour de France. A special bike, with blue metal gold livery, which, diffrently from the others 110 exemplars, has the front logo made of solid gold. And after the show of yesterday evening, everything is set to start the most important race of the year, the 111th edition of the Tour de France. The Colnago V4 is an allround bicycle, a bike that is extremely fun to ride and has a clean and refined design. The monocoque frame is stiff, solid, reactive, and enjoys the benefits of the same carbon layup R&D and aerodynamic studies that led to the realization of the V4Rs. #Colnago #V4

Attention to detail, exquisite craftmanship, and cutting-edge technology. These attributes have distinguished Colnago bicycles from the very start, and this special bike for the 2024 Tour de France is no exception, expressing the savoir-faire and artistry of Italian manufacturing. This is more than a mere bicycle, it's a tribute to the culture and history that unite Italy and France, two central nations in the history of European and world culture. Not only the ‘high’ culture of the great philosophers and men of letters, painters and sculptors, but also its most common expressions, that all-European ability to take the humblest things in life and treat them to the point of making them art. Colnago has interpreted this connection through a bike, the C68 Fleur-de-Lys, which features the fleur-de-lys as a key design element. The French lily is serially reproduced on the top tube in gold on a Bleu de France-coloured metal leaf field.
