The first session of the HbbTv Demo Live presents some previews of the 12th HbbTv Symposium & Awards that will be held at the Church House in London on 14 and 15 November 2024. Presentations, previews, exclusives on products and solutions for interactive television and with advanced services will see the guests of this event as protagonists. The HbbTv Digital Live Exprience is moderated by Jorn Krieger and it's an important event to anticipate topics and contents that will generate a great attention by the media and technological industry. The 12th HbbTV Symposium and Awards on 14-15 November 2024 in London, UK, will provide a unique platform to present and discuss the latest developments in the connected TV industry. The annual key industry summit, targeting platform operators, broadcasters, advertisers and adtechs, standards organisations and technology companies, will be co-hosted with Everyone TV. The joint venture owned and supported by the UK’s leading public service broadcasters BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5 operates the free-TV platforms Freeview and Freesat. Following the successful introduction of the new concept last year, the HbbTV Symposium will again consist of a traditional conference with keynotes, panels and roundtables on the first day. The second day will feature an unconference at which participants decide about the agenda, topics and discussions, actively shaping and driving the sessions and conclusions. Material related to the second day is made available in the Unconference Hub. The event will also host the 7th edition of the HbbTV Awards, featuring a wide range of categories designed to acclaim best practice and excellence in the HbbTV community. The prices will be awarded at a glamorous ceremony in the evening of the first Symposium day.
