Fondata nel 1994 come azienda tecnico-commerciale nel campo della meccanica di precisione, oggi il Gruppo Covis è costituito da quattro società e sedi operative e si distingue come gruppo dinamico, orientato alla qualità, che supporta i suoi clienti con una gamma completa di servizi e di finitura di componenti per vari settori industriali. Il nostro sistema di gestione della qualità è certificato secondo la norma UNI EN ISO 9001: 2015. La produzione è su misura: tutti i componenti sono prodotti secondo i disegni e le specifiche del cliente. La capacità di produzione flessibile consente a Covis Group di gestire richieste di varie dimensioni e pesi, da piccole a grandi componenti e progetti che coinvolgono una vasta gamma di leghe di acciaio, placcature, saldature strutturali, prove NDE e rivestimenti. Today we would like to share an assembly process recently carried out in our production departments: the cooling of a shaft using liquid nitrogen for subsequent shrink fitting. It represents an essential process for obtaining a precise and long-lasting coupling between two mechanical components. But why use liquid nitrogen? Cooling the tree with liquid nitrogen allows you to reach extremely low temperatures quickly and efficiently. The processing of components for the energy sector requires experience and great precision.
