This morning, our Shoe and Bag Design students concluded the week with a hands-on materials workshop led by Chiara Rivituso, Accessories Manager, who shared valuable insights on material techniques and design applications. In the afternoon, students continued their study of materials with a visit to DYLOAN Bond Factory - Pattern Group, whose approach to technology and innovation revolutionizes manufacturing methods by combining Tradition with Innovation, Craftsmanship with Modernity. On November 22, D-house laboratorio urbano has participated at SMAU Abruzzo 2024: Innovation and the Future, the leading event for technological innovation and digital transformation. During the event Loreto Di Rienzo, Director of R&D at D-house laboratorio urbano, presented the LEADERS project, developed in collaborations with Stazione Sperimentale per l’Industria delle Pelli e delle materie concianti, focused on redefining the boundaries of design and fashion through responsible innovation. The project aims to bring together innovative materials and advanced technologies, exploring new creative and productive possibilities.
