“As both a woman and a person of color in recruiting, diversity is of the utmost importance to me. We need to understand where and how we can improve to become more inclusive across all levels. I try to think beyond the frame of the typical diversity criteria, such as ethnicity and gender, and also consider things like veteran status and diversity of thought. I'm excited about the opportunity to bring more diversity to Datadog and see the impact on our rapidly scaling organization. ”

Datadog’s DEI Mission Statement
At Datadog, diversity means making a conscious effort to reflect the many experiences and identities of the world outside, while treating each other with fairness and without bias. Inclusion is the choice we make every day to foster an environment where people of all backgrounds not only belong, but excel, so that together, as a company, we can succeed.
#DatadogLife on InstagramDEI Community
Datadog strives for a culture of belonging, both in and out of the office. We offer trainings around unconscious bias, allyship support, and more. Our Community Guilds are voluntary, employee-driven groups of individuals who join together based on common backgrounds or demographic factors - and the allies who support them. We believe in supporting our communities through charitable donations to help amplify those working to bring justice, inclusion, and equality to the world.

One way Datadog shows our support for diversity and inclusion in tech is through our involvement in partnerships with organizations such as PowerToFly, BreakLine, and Black Is Tech. Through these partnerships we’ve hosted events in our communities to better engage, educate, and understand DEI in the workplace. We offer the Datadog Upward Scholarship to US students interested in tech who identify as a woman, non-binary, Black, or Latinx. Applications run from November-February.
