Thanks to Marie-Françoise Voidrot-Martinez, today The Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) shares how COSI projects can help make location information increasingly FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable). As DIS4SME Project that works on improving interoperability skills

The workshop on “Interoperability - approaches in food supply chain” jointly organized by the two sisters projects TRUSTFOOD and DIS4SME Project is ongoing! Giacomo Martirano from Epsilon Italia presents the DIS4SME training offer and in particular the two Business Cases dealing with 🚗Mobile food marketplace and 🥦 Agriculture and tailored to SME owners/manager and SME technicians and job seekers. Main data interoperability challenges tackled by the Business Case Studies: 🛰 Data from different sources (e.g. satellite images, drone footage, fixed camera images, smartphone photos, sensors, models) 🏛 Data provided by various entities (e.g. national/regiona/local public authorities, research organisations, private bodies, citizens) 🖥 Data structured and encoded in different ways 📃 Data shared with different modalities and protocols DIS4SME courses will be available for free from January 2025. At GIM, we continuously seek opportunities to innovate and stay at the cutting edge of technology. 🚀 Our project manager, An Heirman, played a key role at the recent DIS4SME Project meeting, where we focused on providing training on data interoperability with an international team. We aim to share our knowledge in this crucial area with other SMEs through various training sessions prepared right here in our hometown.
