- DKC Group: Optimising the Pre-Treatment Process: The DKC group, founded in 1998 and a leading manufacturer of cable tray systems in several markets, has made several investments to simplify the management of the paint plant without compromising the final quality of the product. Michele oberti, head of the Ram Block production unit, explained the problems the company had with paint adhesion and high operating costs resulting from inadequate pre-treatment. Thus began the collaboration between DN chemicals and DKC: together they studied a new pre-treatment process with a view to improving quality and plant integration and management. Thanks to this collaboration, it has been possible to achieve important results in terms of performance, costs, management mode and final quality, all while maintaining the same plant and acting only on the chemistry used for pre-treatment. Today we review the success story of a company specialising in sheet metal processing since 1986, with which DN chemicals has been working. Following the need to provide customers with support for the entire industrial process related to sheet metal working, the first in-house powder coating plant was installed. Thus began the collaboration with DN chemicals with whom tests were carried out that led to the integration of a multi-metal pre-treatment cycle with final atomisation of a nanotechnological passivation product. Thanks to the introduction of nanotechnology pretreatment, DN chemicals' customer company was able to make a qualitative leap in terms of finishing performance.
