Last week it was a true pleasure to give a lecture to a group of students at Politecnico di Milano on the different stages of development of a startup and corresponding financing rounds. This was the second session of a 4 part series designed to provide students with a comprehensive overview of the world of VC, encompassing topics such as how a VC firm works, the startup lifecycle, and conducting due diligence. Sharing my experience as a venture capital investors with young and brilliant students who wants to learn more about the field is definetely very rewarding. Thanks to Entrepreneurship Club Polimi for offering this opportunity to Privilège Ventures to collaborate. This aligns with our Privilège Student Ventures activity which foster and prepare the next generation of entrepreneurs and investors and I couldn't be happier about it.

For the third time Entrepreneurship Club Polimi and E-Club || Bocconi Entrepreneurship Club together with Entrepreneurship Club Cattolica, Entrepreneurship Club STATALE and E-Club Ventures are ready to see you all at the University Startup Challenge. What is the USC? It is a competition between different groups of students which want to come up with an innovative startup-idea as a way of finding a solution to a problem that usually raises awareness and interest. Not only is it the most waited and dynamic event of the year, but is also a very unique opportunity to create bonds with people coming from different environments, that share the same passion and interest in entrepreneurship. This year the topic of the challenge will be: Affordable Housing and Urban Regeneration, therefore we want to challenge you to come up with a solution to the question: Is it possible to live in an italian big city having a daily budget of 10€? The plan for the challenge will be the following:  • Opening ceremony on April 19th at Politecnico di Milano, Città Studi, followed by a Networking Aperitivo at Jet Cafe; • Challenge Presentation by our main sponsor Lombardini22 on April 20th at Politecnico di Milano, Città Studi; • Workshop and seminars: How to prepare a pitch? On May 3rd at Bocconi University; • Startup Showcase, Pitch presentation and Closing ceremony on May 4th at Bocconi University, followed by a Closing Aperitivo near Bocconi University. Being scared of joining the challenge alone is not an option…since you can apply not only as a group already formed, but also as a singular participant and we will therefore ensure you get together in a great team with other students! In case your ideas might be a bit confused or you fear of not being an expert in the entrepreneurial field, there are plenty of opportunities you can choose from, to dive better in this world before the challenge.
