"Making innovation happen in Italy: a successful launch event of the EIT Community Hub! 🎉 With around 200 participants and representatives from the nine EIT Knowledge and Innovation Communities (#KICs), and the EIT Deep Tech Talent Initiative, the launch event of the EIT Community Hub Italy demonstrated the EIT Community's strong commitment to fostering innovation in Italy, in close collaboration with local ecosystem actors. 🌱🤝 The event was opened with welcome remarks from representatives of EIT - European Institute of Innovation and Technology and the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy. The EIT Community Officer, Marta Molinero, highlighted how the Hub can support local innovators in accessing EIT Community opportunities, further strengthening the links between the Italian innovation ecosystem and Europe's largest innovation network. 🌍💡 Many thanks to our excellent speakers who contributed to the panel discussions: Bruno Mourenza, Shiva Loccisano, Tech Transfer Expert, Susanna Zuccarini, Alberto Gualtieri, Alessio Gugliotta, Angelica Monaco, Andrea Conti 🇪🇺, Francesca Barisani, PhD, Lorenzo Sanna, Chiara Maiorino, Maurizio Ferrari, Daniela Sani, Barbara De Ruggieri, Federico Esu, Noemi Boldrini, Claudia Carani, Patricia Paulina Karrer, Marina Silverii and Gian Mario MAGGIO🎤✨ During a keynote speech, Sanzio Bassini from CINECA shared some valuable insights regarding the development of digital infrastructures at the national level, which are integral to the context of European High-Performance Computing (HPC) and Artificial Intelligence. In the afternoon, a successful matchmaking workshop took place with over 100 participants! 📢 Open call: Main Innovation Projects 2025 EIT Culture & Creativity invites you to submit proposals for ambitious, high-impact projects tackling key challenges in the Cultural and Creative Sectors and Industries (#CCSI). This call supports groundbreaking #innovations in fashion, architecture, cultural heritage, audio-visual media, and gaming, helping stakeholders navigate globalisation, digital transformation, emerging technologies (such as AI), and environmental sustainability.   We offer financial support per project up to €350,000 for consortia of at least two participants, along with tailored support to ensure long-term success - market access, investor pitch sessions, and networking opportunities.  The call is open until 11 April, and a series of information sessions will be held on 19 February.
