Eles Semiconductors Equipment è lieta di aver partecipato al seminario “41st Chemnitz Seminar” dal titolo «Test and Reliability Solutions – New Opportunities for Electronic Components and Systems», organizzato dal Fraunhofer ENAS a Chemnitz, un evento che ha visto la condivisione di idee innovative e best practices nel campo dei test e dell'affidabilità dei semiconduttori. Nonostante le rigide temperature invernali, l'atmosfera all'interno è stata calda e stimolante, ricca di preziosi scambi di conoscenze. È stato un piacere per il nostro team esplorare le soluzioni avanzate in tema di qualità e affidabilità, così come avere l'opportunità di approfondire la ricerca nei laboratori di Fraunhofer ENAS, un ambiente unico dove l'innovazione continua a guidare il futuro dei componenti elettronici. Particolarmente importante per Eles Semiconductors Equipment è stato il nostro intervento in collaborazione con il Fraunhofer ENAS, dal titolo "AI-Powered Reliability: RETE Project for Semiconductor Excellence", a cura di Luca Moriconi, R&D and Roadmap Manager di Eles Semiconductor. Al suo fianco, per rappresentare Eles, c’erano anche Alessandro Maseri, Application Manager, ed Emiliano Polpetta, Asia Sales Director. Un sentito ringraziamento a Fraunhofer ENAS per aver organizzato un evento di grande valore, e a tutti i partecipanti per le discussioni stimolanti che hanno arricchito il seminario. Great news: We are thrilled to announce that Fraunhofer ENAS and the equipment manufacturer ELES S.P.A. will now work closely together, which will strengthen the new competence center for semiconductor testing in Chemnitz.   The “Test and Reliability Center” (TRC) being built in the heart of Saxony represents a research and development facility unique in Europe for testing and assessing the reliability of semiconductor components bundling the expertise of several well-known players in the quality assurance of semiconductors in the region.   Italian technology company ELES S.P.A., a leading provider of reliability testing equipment, has become a major initial working partner to the Fraunhofer ENAS during the center’s development phase. ELES S.P.A. will supply a state-of-the-art system for assessing electrical reliability, thereby creating ideal infrastructure conditions for the work of the TRC in helping the semiconductor industry to meet the highest quality standards in the future.   The partnership will also jointly develop innovative automated testing methods for the chip industry by combining error detection with machine learning techniques ensuring highest quality assurance for semiconductor components and assemblies.   “We are delighted that here at the TRC, we have been able to join with ELES S.P.A., a partner with proven expertise and more than three decades of experience in the field of electrical reliability testing”, explains our institute director Prof. Dr. Harald Kuhn. On the occasion of the festivities, we would like to express our heartfelt thanks for the trust and cooperation you have given us throughout this year. In line with our values and commitment to social welfare, this year we have chosen to allocate the amount we would traditionally have dedicated to Christmas gifts to charitable initiatives.
