The exhibition reflects extraordinary teamwork and international collaboration, with Sandra Heinisch from the Luxembourg Federation accepting the award on behalf of the CNVH. The exhibition serves as a cultural bridge between past and future, preserving and celebrating automotive heritage. Japan hosted the World Forum for Motor Museums for the First Time – FIVA emphasized Its Initiatives to Protect, Preserve, and Promote Historic Vehicles! From October 29 to November 1, Japan hosted the World Forum for Motor Museums (WFFMM) for the first time, bringing together international automotive heritage experts at the Toyota and Fuji Motorsports Museums. FIVA’s presence at the event, initiated by Ambassador Masaki Shimizu, included President Tiddo Bresters and Youth Working Group member Erina Fukui, creating a valuable opportunity to network with representatives from Japan’s automotive industry and major museums worldwide. As part of this prestigious event, FIVA honored the legacy of the late Kenichi Yamamoto with its Heritage Hall of Fame Award, recognizing his pioneering work on the Wankel rotary engine and his contributions to Mazda’s heritage. At the Fuji Fan Cruise, FIVA also presented a special award to the owner of a 1980 Honda Accord EX, his first car, which he has proudly kept for 44 years as part of his “one car for life” philosophy.
