Co-funded by the European Union, the Flood Stopping Erasmus+ project aims to train high school teachers about flood risk

Chi siamo

Co-funded by the European Union, the Flood Stopping Erasmus+ project aims to train high school teachers about climate change adaptation, flood awareness and preparedness. By supporting high school teachers, school leaders, and other teaching professionals and teaching them innovative skills through a cross-sectoral, interdisciplinary, and transnational approach, the Flood Stopping project aims to raise awareness among the younger generations about the risks of climate change and subsequent flooding. It promotes a comprehensive approach to language teaching and learning, mainstreaming new technologies for language learning. These activities and results are related to the general priorities of the 2022 call of Erasmus, such as: "Environment and fight against climate change and Common values, civic engagement, and participation." The Flood Stopping project is the brainchild of a partnership whose objective is to implement "Innovative methodologies for localising flood management strategies for climate change adaptation through storytelling, mapping and gaming tools".
