Freeda is the #1 media brand for entire generations of women. Inspire, represent and speak to them through unique content and experiences is what we care about the most. Our mission is to spread real women’s stories to inspire positive change and impact society at large. We do that by promoting women’s achievements, inspiring personal style and celebrating sisterhood. We create original premium content designed for all screens and social platforms dedicated to passions, cultures and news relevant to young women. We are a team close to 200 people, working across three countries - Italy, Spain and UK, creating content and sharing experiences dedicated to a community of +11M women. Nevertheless, we continue to invest in our team – planning unique content, original and meaningful collaborations, and expanding to new countries.     In 2013, just as Amanda Nguyen was preparing to graduate from Harvard, she was raped on campus. Like many survivors, she was met with a broken legal system—expensive, complicated, and often re-traumatizing. During her fight for justice, she discovered that sexual assault evidence kits could be destroyed after only six months, a revelation that ignited her passion for change. In 2014, she founded Rise, a nonprofit dedicated to advocating for survivors of sexual violence. She played a pivotal role in the passage of the Survivors' Bill of Rights Act of 2016, signed by President Obama. This law guarantees victims' rights, including the free storage of evidence kits until the statute of limitations expires, and mandates that authorities notify survivors before evidence is destroyed. Nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize, Nguyen has helped pass 28 laws benefiting sexual violence victims, impacting 72 million people. Rise continues its mission to pass laws against sexual violence in all 50 U.S. states and establish international protections for survivors. #Freeda #WomensStories #AmandaNguyen
