August 10th, 2018. ICONè and COPELME S.A. have fired up PM4 tissue machine in Santa Cruz de la Sierra mill (Bolivia), 10 days ahead the contract scheduled date. The EconSOFT Tissue Machine has 2.76 m width, 1600 m/min operating speed, a Yankee dryer of 12 feet diameter and gas fired hoods, for a design production of 80 tons/day. ICONè has managed the greenfield project as main contractor, including delivery of stock preparation line and complete auxiliary equipment, mill ancillary systems, on-site assembly and complete engineering services (turn-key). Works at site have begun in early March 2018, so the installation and commissioning of entire plant equipment has been completed in just 5 months. The paper mill Copelme S.A. is among the leading Bolivian tissue and MG paper manufactures. The new tissue plant is to increase the company production output by 25000 tons/year, with room in the new site to install additional 2 tissue machines in the future.
