Yesterday we hosted our first "Women in #Tech – driving innovation & diversity" event dedicated to informing and making careers in technology more tangible and attractive for #women.   Hosted by Gaia Peracca, with sponsorship from AnnaChiara Lucchini and David Cis, we were honoured to hear from our wonderful guest speakers: Jenny Linke, Sofia Hristova, and Annalisa Zappavigna. Today, on the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, we hosted a Creating an Inclusive Workplace panel with Fabrizio Acanfora, an autistic writer and lecturer on neurodiversity, and our colleague Francesco Brocca, PMP®, IT Project Manager, discussing invisible disabilities. They explored how we can challenge #stereotypes, ensure regular discussions on #disability, and make our language inherently #inclusive. We emphasized that disability is about societal interaction, not personal limitation. #Generali launched the 2nd edition of #Generations #Exchange program The success of our first experience, initiated by the GCOO & GOSP DEI Council, motivated us to enlarge the program to all Group Head office functions. Our fourth GCOO & GOSP “Continuous Improvement” event of the year took place this month, hosted by David Cis. Our speakers shared insights and updates on topics around #GenerativeAI and Digital Operational Resilience Act, at both Group and GOSP levels. We focused on how generative AI coding is impacting and supporting our daily business. Furthermore, we did a deep dive into the European regulation DORA, sharing its main objectives and its implementation within the Group and GOSP. Last Friday, we celebrated the conclusion of our first Generations Exchange program! In October 2023, 35 pairs from four different #generations embarked on this unique journey, meeting regularly to share their perspectives and learn from each other. Despite age and hierarchical differences, everyone brought their #expertise and #curiosity to the table. During the closure meeting, participants reflected on their #experiences, discussed their #learnings, and shared recommendations for future participants. We’re excited to announce that a second wave of this tandem mentoring program is already in the planning stages and will be launched soon! Last week our Group IT Committee met in Venice in our THSN headquarters in Procuratie Vecchie, hosted by GOSP CEO and Head of Group IT, fabio oggioni.   Heads of IT from across the Group came together to meet with the GOSP management team and spent the day deep-diving into the Group IT Strategy, sharing local plans and initiatives, and discussing potential #synergies, leveraging both on Group Assets and Services and local projects and #roadmaps.   Thanks to all for the great discussion and participation!
