To transform a Warehouse to a party you just need amazing people with the willingness to share their traditions and curiosity. Our Verona Branch Christmas party was a heartwarming celebration of diverse traditions and delicious food. Colleagues brought dishes from their hometowns and countries, creating a feast that was as varied as it was delicious. The joy of sharing our roots and stories made the event truly special. It was a wonderful opportunity to bond and get to know each other better. Many of our colleagues brought their families and loved ones to help with the cooking, making it a true family event. Before the festivities began, we had the honor of officially inaugurating the new branch. Special guests Matteo Gasparato and Nicola Boaretti from the Consorzio ZAI Interporto Quadrante Europa, along with our Managing Director Marcello Corazzola, our President Christian Gruber, and the Branch Director Sergio Muzzarelli cut the ribbon and mark this exciting new chapter. Gruber Logistics wins "Il Logistico dell'anno" in the Innovation category. This recognition was awarded for our groundbreaking work on the MODI Project, a #European initiative aimed at accelerating the introduction of Connected, Cooperative, and Automated Mobility (#CCAM) solutions to enhance logistics chains. For this project, we work strongly in the city of Hamburg and along the corridor from Rotterdam to Oslo. In Hamburg, our truck, equipped with advanced external devices, conducted a digital scan of the city route, collecting crucial data on interactions with the surroundings. This data will help optimize the physical and digital infrastructure for highly automated driving. Meanwhile, addressing the driver shortage and improving road freight transport efficiency, we conducted a test run from Rotterdam to Oslo. Our driver navigated through five countries, collecting essential data for future automated driving. We are proud to lead the way in innovation and automation in logistics. We want to thank all partners and team members who made this achievement possible! Open Factory 2024: we opened the doors of Gruber Logistics Verona! On Saturday, November 23, we welcomed visitors to our new #headquarters in Verona, located within the Interporto Quadrante Europa - freight terminal, to share what we do and how we do it.
